Unbranded RH Wood Thumb Rest Grips for Colt E / I-Frame Revolver -List of Models

Description: This listing is for the pair of pistol grips with screw as shown. I see no makers mark. These are for a right handed shooter as the thumb rest position would dictate. They are also for a large mans hand, not for a smaller hand as you would not be able to reach the trigger without modifying the grip. These fit a Colt E or I-Frame revolver, the specific E frame models being: Army Special, Official Police, Officers Model, Officers Model Target, Officers Model Special, Officers Model Match, Commando, Marshal and Trooper from 1953-1961, along with the Border Patrol from 1953-1954. The specific I frame models are: Trooper (1961-1969, Colt "357" and the original Python. This has the slightly higher grip screw location so that it will only fit the models with the perfectly round frame cutout at the base of the grip frame. They could fit the earlier ones with the elongated round frame cutout, but would require relieving the web directly above said cutout a bit with your dremel, take about a 3/32" relief to make it work as I have done it a few times myself.
