Description: A pair of vintage Catalina Pottery vases in a creamy ivory color with a glossy glaze. They are very attractive and look great on a table. As noted, one vase does have so minor chips to the rim, but these are quite small. The other vase has no chips. They have an embossed hibiscus flower and leaves. The vases also are decorated with a horizontal rib pattern The vases are 6 inches tall, and 5 inches wide at the top. Both have printed stamps on them, indicating these were produced after the manufacturing was shifted from Catalina Island to Los Angeles when the Gladding, McBean & Co. took over the production (makers of Franciscan Ware.) This item is being sold on behalf of Maple Knoll Village Senior Community, ReRun Shop (non-profit store) in Cincinnati, OH. All proceeds from this sale will go towards a fund that provides additional assistance and services to senior citizens in our community.
