Two Dive Knives - Dacor And Beuchat Maximo

Description: Two dive knives: DACOR and Beuchat Maximo Quick Release Blue. Both used, but in great condition. I bought these knives in the 90s new and have been their sole owner. The DACOR knife has a 5 7/8 inch blade and a red rubber handle with steel pommel. The blade has "DACOR Stainless Steel Japan" stamped on it, with etched inch markings. The sheath is made of plastic with rubber straps and a rubber retainer (a ring that fits around the handle). The straps have plastic fasteners. The blade has had very sporadic and light use, and has some minor scratches. The edge has no marks or dents and still is in the original factory condition (it has never been sharpened). It is not very sharp and I certainly would sharpen it if I were to use it for diving. The rubber straps and fasteners are in great condition and ready for use. The sheath has no cuts, cracks or blemishes. No signs of rust or dirt anywhere. A great little (or not so little) vintage knife. The Beuchat Maximo Quick Release Blue knife has a 4 1/2 inch blade and a plastic handle with a quick release button that is fully operational. The blade has "MAXIMO Stainless Steel Japan" markings on it. The markings use black paint and are very sharp, but the paint has small scratches in the word "MAXIMO". The knife has been lightly used, but only has a few very minor scratches on it. It still has the original factory edge on it (it has never been sharpened) without dents or marks. Everything is still extremely sharp (main blade, serrations, and string cutter). The sheath is hard plastic and has no cuts, cracks, or blemishes. The retaining function is still as perfect as when it was bought. The straps are rubber with steel(?) buckles and are in great shape. No signs of rust or dirt anywhere. This knife comes in its original box and is ready to go on a dive the day it is received. From a non-smoking home.
