Description: Absolutely stunning example of antique American made coin silver from the mid 19th century. Made by silversmith Albert Coles, who was active in New York City from 1835 until 1877. This example of a twisted handle serving spoon has never had any monograms or initials engraved on it. Nice and super clear makers "pseudo" hallmarks This particular piece likely dates to the mid to late 1860s. Weight: 48.8 grams Length: 8 7/8" Condition: Overall, it's in great condition for its age, but it does show its age. There is wear to the whole piece, small scratches and maybe a few small dents. It will likely polish up great, I generally don't polish pieces of silver if they aren't heavy tarnished, so I've left this piece as I found it. Shipping: I generally drop items off at USPS the day after the item is purchased during the week (Monday-Thursday). Items purchased Friday-Sunday will usually be dropped off at the post office on Monday (or on Tuesday at the absolute latest) Due to the holidays and USPS, I can't guarantee any item purchased will be delivered by a certain date, especially as we get closer to Christmas.
