Do not bypass this switch as it is a safety switch and can lead to fires if bypass its intended use. Symptom: heat light does not come on when close door as normal and does not appear to heat up, and or water still in chamber, good chance this switch has gone bad. Easy replacement, be sure to unplug machine prior to replacing.
