The artist has captured the soft pinks and warm muted tones of a late afternoon/early evening as the sun descends beyond the rolling hills in Tuscany. It gives the work a quiet tranquility and brings a calming peaceful presence to any room. I find it positively glows in the late pm light. In excellent condition in a simple but elegant frame. The only thing I could state is that the board is very slightly bowed outward as is not uncommon for works on panel. It does not detract in any way and is ready to be hung upon receipt.I have not been able to find anything on this artist but clearly the work of a professional who will no doubt be recognized in time. Signed and dated 2003 lower right and titled Tuscany on reverse. Painting will be carefully packaged and shipped fully insured via UPS, Fed Ex, USPO depending upon location.
