Stock blow-off valves like those that come standard with the Focus ST often suffer from a range of problems. The stock Blow Off Valves are plastic, and they leak, and if you want to up the power (who doesn't?) they have trouble holding the extra boost. You’ll have no such troubles with Turbosmart’s Kompact Shortie blow-off valve. Like all Turbosmart blow-off valves, the new Focus ST Kompact Shorties have been designed, machined and hand assembled in-house. Keeping the process in-house, ensures only the best quality, and the aircraft grade aluminum alloy construction means cracking and leaking even under increased boost levels will never be an issue. Unlike the standard, plastic valves that use un-reinforced diaphragms and are known to crack under increased boost, the new Turbosmart Ecoboost Kompact valves use O-Ring sealed piston which, coupled with their billet aluminum construction give them over 30PSI boost handling capability. Designed as a bolt-on replacement of the factory valve on all the 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 Ford Focus ST 2.0T Ecoboost Turbos, the Turbosmart Kompact Shortie Dual Port provides better boost response and greater boost handling capability.
