At Oklahoma statehood in 1907, Tulsa was selected as the county seat. The first courthouse was a two story brick structure. This postcard shows the the second courthouse, designed by Winkley & McDonald and constructed by Van Horn & Son Construction on the northeast corner of Sixth Street and South Boulder Avenue in Tulsa in 1910 to 1911. This was the Courthouse at the center of the 1921 massacre in Greenwood. This postcard shows the scene in approximately 1914. A horse drawn wagon and motorized cars. The front and verso of the postcard is scanned at high res, and the last photo (Black and White) shows the courthouse after the riot in 1921.
