Description: Tudor Prince Oyster Chronograph 79280P Here we have a wonderful example of the Tudor Prince 79280 with non-Tiger dial. Considered by a lot of folks to be a ‘Daytona-lite’, it features a 40mm steel case, lovely silver-Panda dial, mounted to a Tudor Jubilee bracelet and powered by the ever-reliable 7750 movement. This version has the ‘P’ designation at the end of the model number, indicating it has polished lugs from factory. These were produced at a time when Tudor was transitioning to a company apart from Rolex, and the case, bracelet and crown no longer featured the iconic Rolex logo, and helped build the base of success that modern Tudor experiences today. This particular piece is a H serial, so circa early-mid 00's, and presents in TZ 'Good' condition. The highly polished case and bracelet shows some signs of use in the form of light scratches and swirlies, with a very minor nick on the left side of the case being the reason for the 'Good' rather than 'Excellent' grading according to the TZ scale. Very nice condition for its age, and clearly sparingly worn. Please see images for full condition details. The bracelet is the original 62590 with a DT clasp code, so around 2002 which matches the age of the watch. It has 13 links, with one spare, so fully linked. Shows minor desk dive marks on the links, and a bit more on the clasp. Service history is unknown. All functions operating as they should, and keeping time at around -6 seconds a day at high 200's amplitude/ Comes outer box, inner box, document holder, hang tag, warranty papers (expired), booklet and spare link to complete the bracelet.
