I wanted a different sound than what you can buy in the store. So first I made a complete system for myself (DAC, Amplifier, Converter, Speaker) but I noticed that other people wanted the same. They like to listen to a device that doesn't have the sound of a device. It simply plays music. No "chip sound". That's why there is no PCB, that's why the circuits are made on wood and I use electron tubes. etc... Hand made, unique, custombuilt.No need to install, plug and play. The device uses 13 transformers and 5 chokes, all supply points are independent. So there are no overmodulations. The device's electrontube converter is fed independently of the computer and also has an independent electrontube oscillator to provide the clock. The parts are selected, new! Specifically, it has appliance sound. Their sound is featureless, boring. Female singers have no emotion, male singers have no character, instruments have no body. The main reasons for this, in my experience:1. inadequate grounding design due to the PCB design. This is the biggest problem.2. the mere existence of the PCB itself. Especially in high frequency devices like DACs, converters.3. Dissonant harmonics that disturb the human ear caused by feedbacks due to unreasonably high power.4. The presence of electrolytic capacitors.I solved the problem of grounding (which is the holy grail of audiophile listening in my opinion!) with point to point construction .I solved the PCB board problem by not including a PCB board in my equipment.The problem of feedback was solved by not using unduly high power and thus no feedback.I was able to omit the Electrolytic capacitors by using electron tube circuit. There I did not need a large capacitance and therefore no electrolytic capacitor.Unfortunately, there are no such devices that do all these things at the same time.
