Description: Copper plated cast iron escutcheon in the Truro Design by Sargent H-42900 C:1905. The plate is straight and still has excellent deep detail but the copper plating is severely worn off. It has been cleaned and buffed down to remove any surface rust and given a clear coat to help protect what's left of the finish. Should you choose to refinish to match your decor the clear serves as an excellent basecoat. All available have about equal wear just in different spots. Should you purchase multiple plates I'll do my best to match up the patinas or if you see the ones you like in the last pictures you can email your choice upon purchase.Always refer to the pictures they are an integral part of the description and best represent the product. If you need more pictures or a further definition please email me BEFORE you purchase. Please remember that these are old pieces, many coming from homes 100+ years old so they will NEVER EVER be perfect and will always show some evidence of natural wear.C-38
