Description: True Hallucinations by Terence McKenna This is a 1993 first edition book that is also signed by Terence McKenna (1946-2000). This book is an account of his travels with his brother and a “small band of others” to the Amazon basin “in search of the mythical shamanistic hallucinogen of the Witoto.” Ultimately, the book is an account of their bizarre experiences and the theories that developed including the formulation that psilocybin is the “missing link in the development to human consciousness and language.” CONDITION: This book is in very good condition and may have never been read! It is almost like new but there is a light, small sign of water wear at the bottom of dust jacket on spine that is small. Please view photo of bottom spine of book. There is a light blue mark about a pinky nail tip size and light water stain. This wear affects dust jacket only and no part of the actual book. This is a must have for any fan of McKenna, ethnopharmacology, consciousness, and psilocybin and hallucinogens for enlightenment and healing (individually & collectively). Shipped via Media Mail for free, unless otherwise specified! Feel free to reach out with any questions you may have. Thanks for eBaying with me!
