(See photos) Trebonianus Gallus and his son, Volusianus, were both Roman emperors who ruled jointly from 251 to 253 AD. Gallus and Volusian were murdered by the troops of Aemilius Aemilianus in August 253. A medallion in the MFA features the facing busts of the two emperors.
