Bound in the original red hardcover boards, titled in gilt to the spine, with circular floral design to the upper board. Boards darkened and soiled, mainly to the outer edges. Spine darkened, with loss to the upper section. Previous owner's plate to the inner cover (Frederick Wrench). Second blank and title pages detached together. Block sound, though with some damping to the edges, more so to the plate pages. All edges gilt. All 26 plates present, one being used as a frontis instead of pp245. Notable for the wonderful views around Italy, Austria and Germany in the early Victorian period, including Verona, Milan, Innsbruck, Strasbourg, Lake Maggiore, Venice, Trent, and more.
