Description: Trace Elliot First production of the GP11 Graphic, a PP33 and various awards. I worked at Trace Elliot for 12 years in Production, Service and R&D, 1989-2001. During that time, we used to collect early examples of production units for the 'Trace Museum' which also included various awards from press for popular models. Making Music Magasine ran yearly reader polls, and we were lucky enough to win the following: 1993 - Best Bass Amp BLX80 1994 - Best Bass Amp BLX1301995 - Best Bass Amp Commando1996 - Best Bass Amp V61997 - Best Bass Amp V-Type 300H I actually designed the original V-Type range so am particularly proud of the 300H & V6 awards. However, I need to downsize my huge collection of music gear and memorabilia so it's all up for grabs.We also recieved very nice Perspex award from MIPA for the AH1000 bass amp in 2000 - see photos. This auction includes 2 very early examples of MK1 GP11 preamps and a prototype PP33 parametric EQ which was the forerunner of the GP11. One GP11 has the serial 1044, the 44th unit of MK1 so within the first couple of weeks of the start of production.These 3 units are around 40 years old and haven't been used for at least 25 years, so I have not powered any of them up and recommend that they are not! They are really only being sold for historical value and as they are in a fairly poor state, I wouldn't recommend they are used. Unless of corse, someone has the time and inclination to fully service them. Really difficult to put a value on all this stuff so I'm listing at £400 or best offer. If someone would like to purchase the complete set of Trace Scrap books I have in another auction for the asking price of £800, I will throw this entire collection of awards & old units in for free.
