Description: This is a divided back postcard, unposted and featuring a view of a totem pole in downtown Seattle, Washington. Totem Pole is located at Pioneer Square. This totem pole was originally carved in 1790 and raided in the Tlingit village in Alaska. It was stolen by Seattle businessmen and gifted to the city of Seattle in 1899, where it was raised in Pioneer Square. The totem pole pictured in the postcard was damaged by arson and a replica was installed in its place in 1940. Postcard may have normal wear associated with old postcards such as creases and bent corners. See pics for details and conditions. Reasonable offers will be considered.
