Topping Inc. was a company based in the U.S.A. that ran from about 1942 to 1972. Like this example, their models were usually made for the aircraft manufacture to be used as promotional tools when trying to sell the aircraft to the airlines, but some of their range also became giveaway's and gifts. (This example and the few of them made were ONLY for Boeing.) This is a model of the Boeing 720B in Boeing Company livery, which we believe was never applied to any real Boeing 720B's. (Today similar models would be finished in the livery of the airline the manufacture was hoping to sell to.) As shown, this model has some faults with both tail-planes broken, and crudely reattached, and some of the livery is missing. Also the model screws onto the stand, and this had had also been glued on, but we have carefully removed it so can be screwed back together. Note this model was made with the screw attached to the plane, not the stand. It is 1:200 scale and measures 22cm long x 20cm wide. We do offer combined postage discounts when/where possible.
