Description: Tomy MC-150 15000RPM Lab High Speed Micro Centrifuge w/TMA-2 12-Place Rotor Safety device to open Centrifuge is not present. I was only able to open the Centrifuge by placing a screwdriver in the safety lock mechanism on the side when pushing the door open button. RPM's change appropriately according to what is set on the knob. Centrifuge seems to spin appropriately. The timing feature does not appear to function, Item does not auto-shut off or alarm when appropriate time frame has elapsed. Item is used, and has scuffs, and adhesive marks on the exterior of the device. Review photos carefully prior to purchase. Item sells as is seen in photos. Item was purchased from a University as surplus.
