She had a very successful exhibit circuit throughout the Wisconsin, Michigan, Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois and Michigan. Maria was a student of Grandma Moses, Vestie Davis, Janet Munro and many others. She was self-taught painting her entire life. She was known for her birds, flowers, and pleasing scenes. Prices for her objects of art have been as high as $1000.00 for a single object. She loved painting on wood carvings, antique objects, and antiques utensils. Unfortunately Maria passed way at the young age of 85 this month.
