Description: Offered here is a vintage classic Children's Nickel Magazine: "Tip Top Weekly No 517", "Dick Merriwell's Friendly Hand Or, The Boy Who Was Saved", March 10, 1906 approx. 10 7/8" X 8 3/8", Published by Street & Smith, New York. Issued weekly. In over-all good condition, the covers are separated at the spine, slight roll with chipping, internal oxidation. VERY THIN paper. Came from the original family - purchased from a gentlemen whose great grandfather owned these originally. MANY of these early one have issues with the left side corners. I really believed they were clipped back in the day - maybe remainder stock?? Strange that the same exact corners on each one seem clipped.
