Description: This stunning miniature Banko Ware teapot is from the Japanese Meiji period (1868-1912). It is hand painted with a bamboo wrapped handle. The artwork is simple and delicate. The only damage is a very small dark scratch on the lid. There are no markings on the bottom, but there is a character under the handle. 3-3/4” x 3-5/8” including the lid; 4-7/8” high with handle fully raised.
