Description: Offered here is a vintage Golden Age Comic: Tilly and Ted in Tinkertotland, W.T. Grant Co. Stamped Nov. 1944 twice on the cover as the receipt date at the Grants that offered this. My Comic Shop has a 1945 Publ date, other sources have Publ. Dec 10, 1944. 16 pages. We are offering a highly graphic seasonal department store premium. Tilly and Ted in Tinkertotland is a promotional comic book published by W. T. Grant.This Christmas themed comic features the characters Tilly and Ted, two toys long forgotten and stored away in the attic by their now grown-up owner. Tilly and Ted are determined to find Santa Claus in hopes of finding new little boys and girls to be of use for. Notably, this book illustrates several pages of toys and products offered and sold thru W.T. Grant department stores. Ungraded but Mid-Grade, would pretty high grade but for the chip out of the center of the spine - pages are off white with very light oxidation. Also has stamp and written initial and Signed by kid you got it. Judge the condition for yourself please. Please ask questions BEFORE you Purchase.
