Description: Sterling silver 5pc place setting by Tiffany & Co in the Castilian pattern with monogram. Monogram appears to be HCD The Castilian pattern was designed by Arthur LeRoy Barney and introduced in 1929. This 5pc place setting includes 1 of each utensil: New French Pistol Handle Knife, Fork, Salad Fork, Round Bowl Soup Spoon and Dessert/Oval Bowl Soup Spoon. Hallmarks date these pieces to manufacture under the directorship of John C. Moore II, 1907-47. Tiffany & Co box and pouch are not included. Knife measures approx 9 1/8" long, 3/4" wide across blade. Fork measures approx 7" long, 7/8" wide across tines. Salad Fork measures approx 6 5/8" long, 1" wide across tines. Round Bowl Soup Spoon measures approx 7 1/2" long, 1 15/16" wide across bowl. Dessert/Oval Bowl Soup Spoon measures approx 5 7/8" long, 1 1/4" wide across bowl. Weighs approx 303.4g, 195.1dwt total Knife is marked TIFFANY & CO (on blade), TIFFANY & CO MAKERS STERLING (on the handle). Forks and spoons are marked TIFFANY & CO STERLING M PAT Very nice condition, with some very light surface scratches and slight tarnish.
