The composition of these three icons was very common in Eastern Christianity: it was referred to as Deësis, a Greek term that means supplication, intercession. These Three Icons measure 15 1/2 inches in height , by 6 1/4 inches in width, by 1 inch in depth.Being sold as a set of three. The condition is commensurate with age, dating to the Mid 20th century.
