By pioneering inexpensive editions of the classics, the company expanded rapidly, acquiring the rights to works by Rossini, Bellini, Donizetti and Verdi. Minor scuffing to boards, superficial wear and fraying to spine. Clean interior with occasional "X" marks in the margin before certain passages. 228 pages. 9 7/8 x 6 3/4 inches.
