Description: Beautiful copy of the 2001 large coffee table art book showing selections of the first 30 years of art collected by the art museum of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, edited by museum director Peter Y. K. Lam, with a preface by him and foreword by chairman of management J. S. Lee. The preface and foreword, and much of the aatable of contents are presented in English as well as Chinese. Features sections on painting, calligraphy, epigraphy, “Objects for Scholars’ Desk”, ceramics, bronze and jade, and sculpture/miscellaneous. Beautiful full-page color plates throughout most of the book, with nice cloth binding and gilded lettering. All in just about perfect condition, except the top right corner is slightly dinged, and has some light creasing on the cover and inside pages just at the corner, not dramatic and not bad at all. Really it is a near perfect copy and just beautiful. Big and impressive at 10” x 14”.
