Description: Welcome to Antiques & Moore! This listing is for a gorgeous Thomas Webb English cased Art Glass vase decorated by Jules Barbe, c. 1880-1900. The vase has rich coloration in the glass shading from pale turquoise to cream with a glossy finish and is cased over opaque custard glass. The vase is embellished with hand applied tall branches with foliage with the design extending from the base upward to the mouth of the vase. The design also includes a dragonfly, bee and butterfly which are characteristic of Webb pieces decorated by Jules Barbe. Measures 8 1/4" high with a top diameter of 3 1/4" and a base diameter of 2 1/3". Weighs 1.14 pounds. This great vase is in excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws. The gilding is bright and free from wear.
