I have never had any speakers as good as Thiel 3.6 in there price range BUT You will Need a BIG Power Amp to drive them I have modified the tweeters & midrange from scanspk from Denmark as for pick up and demo these weight 124lbs each I also added Hi Quilty Binding post on the as well as the binding post on the bottom. also I had a carpenter make custom solid wood base. the factory base is partical board which always Rott out I used cardas wire 7 silver solder to internal wired binding post so you now can have double run speaker cables or dont even try to get underneath to connect speaker cables
