Description: A good condition hardcover copy of 'The XIT Ranch of Texas and the Early Days of Llano Estacado' by J. Evetts Haley, with an acceptable condition dust jacket. This is the 1953 reprint published by the University of Oklahoma Press. The dust jacket has light scuffs and scratches from storage. There is rub wear and chipping to some of the outer graphics. There is chipping, rub wear, and bump wear along the edges. There are also some tears and a little staining. There is some aged clear tape on the outside and inside of the dust jacket. The outside of the book, itself, has a little bump and rub wear to the top and bottom of the spine and the corners, but otherwise is in great condition. Inside there is a previous owners name written on the front free endpaper, as well as his bookplate pasted onto the half title page. Besides those, there is no writing or markings to any of the pages, as well as no folds. There is some very minor splitting between a couple pages. A copy with some wear and tear to the dust jacket, but the book, itself, is a very solid copy in very nice condition with crisp and clean pages.
