Description: Odds and Sods is a great collection of outtakes and miscellaneous tracks that were never released, mainly recorded between 1968 and 1972. Some of the best include the classic "Long Live Rock", "Faith in Something Bigger", John Entwistle's "Postcard", and "Put the Money Down". "Little Billy", which Townshend refers to in the liner notes (excellent liner notes, by the way) as a masterpiece, is a dark and funny song written for the American Cancer Society as a fundraiser, which the ACS opted not to use, about a boy who found humor in his mean classmates eventually developing lung cancer. It's a classic.
