Description: For sale is a lot of 8 CDs by The Who. CDs are in excellent/near mint good condition, cases show some signs of prior use, such as light scuffing or scratching, nothing too major. CDs have been visually inspected and play tested if they had anything that looked like there would be sound impact. CDs are coming from our collection, so have been cared for and stored in a clean/dry, smoke free environment. Many were bought throughout the 1990s as replacement for my vinyl record collection which has recently been sold here on ebay (some are still in my listings). I will be listing many classic rock, smooth jazz and country CDs over the coming months. CDs included in this listing: · Meaty Beaty Big and Bouncy MCAD-37001 MCA Greatest hits from the Who’s earlier albums · Tommy MCAD-11417 MCA Well known rock opera, this double album is the original rock opera, not the movie soundtrack version of Tommy. · Who's Next MCAD-37217 MCA originally released in 1971, many think this is the Who’s best album, chock full of great songs including Won’t Get Fooled Again, Baba O’ Riley, Behind Blue Eyes and Bargain. · Odds & Sods MCAD-1659 MCA originally released in 1974 this albums songs are as described by the album title, but many hidden gems are on this, especially Long Live Rock, Naked Eye, and Put The Money Down. · Who By Numbers MCAD-11493 MCA originally released in 1975, album cover artwork by John Entwistle, mainly known for Squeezebox and Slip Kid, has some other gems including Success Story and How Many Friends. This disc also includes bonus live tracks for Squeezebox, Behind Blue Eyes and Dreaming From the Waist. · Quadrophenia MCAD-6895 MCA Double Album originally released in 1973 telling the story of young Jimmy who finds himself with multiple personalities depending on his situation. Great concept album that also includes many songs that play well by themselves as well, especially The Real Me, 5:15, I’m One, Love Reign O’er Me. This album is the original release, not the soundtrack for the movie and comes in two separate cases for each disc. · Who Are You MCAD-37003 MCA originally released in 1978 contains a lot of good tunes beside the title track, New Song, Had Enough, Guitar and Pen, and Trick of the Light. · It's Hard MCAD-11635 MCA originally released in 1982, this is the second album without Keith Moon and their foray into 1980’s pop sounds. Still some great tunes, notably Athena, Eminence Front, Dangerous and One At A Time. Coming from a smoke free home, CDs will be shipped by media mail to keep the cost as low as possible.
