I have done a quick flip through them to see if there is any writing inside, torn pages, etc, and note them when it is the case. I may have missed things though, so take note. Also carefully observe the photos, they are of the specific book being sold, and I try to photo any defects or damage I find. General notes on condition: in many cases these books might have smudges, retail stickers, etc. on them. I do NOT make any attempt to clean up the books, and sell them in exactly the same condition I receive them. This is not out of sloth, but because I am absolutely terrible at it, and usually make things worse when I try! In a lot of cases careful hands are able to fix these up well, I am just not the man for that job!
