Description: The Royal Road To Card Magic, by Jean Hugard and Frederick Braue, hardcover book with the original dust jacket, published by Faber & Faber, printed in Great Britain. This title was originally published in 1949- this copy is the "Seventh Impression 1973" as indicated on the copyright page. The book measures approximately 8" by 5 1/4" by 1" thick, with 302 numbered pages and black and white illustrations throughout. I consider this book to be in overall good vintage pre-owned condition with the following noted imperfections: the dust jacket shows wear consistent with age including minor chipping and small tears along the edges, a larger scrape (removed orange color) along the spine, a small dark scuff at the bottom edge of the jacket at the rear; mild age-toning to the jacket and the pages, slight foxing/dinginess along the top text block edge, and a previous owner's ink stamped name and address on the front and rear free endpapers. Otherwise, the pages appear to be free from writing or damage and the cover boards in very good condition. The jacket has been fitted with a new clear Brodart mylar protector which is not permanently affixed and can be easily removed if desired. Please take a moment to view all photographs provided for additional representation of condition, as well as specific and unique book characteristics. Thank you for looking~ I appreciate your interest!
