Description: For sale is a used signed print of Gene Gray's The Raccoon. It is signed and numbered 120/1000. The print is mounted to a hard cardboard paper. Collector Sesies XIV. Named Raccoon Procyon Lotor. Animal Graphic 1972, From the private collection of the Tennessee Department of Conservation. Comes in original paper folder which has the Name of the Print, Signature of Artist, Number of Print. Inner shows a picture of the artist with his raccoon, a write up by Aldo Leopold. its a large print 16 x 20 inches (print itself). The mounting it is on extends it to 16.5 x 20.5 inches. Gene Gray was an American artist who was born in 1937 and passed away 2018. His art specialized in wildlife. This print has been in my family for many years. It has, however, never been on display. There are no rips to the print itself. Some discoloration from age (see pictures). The folder it comes in is in rougher shape... there are some rips and discolorations. See pictures. The print iteself would be great if put in glass frame for future care. All pictures taking outside in bright light.
