The proposed prayer book 1928, the Revised Hymnal 1892

Description: I can see it already in my mind, as the family races is about to get ready to head out to church, someone says did you find my prayer book and hymnal? Back in those days you brought your own and did not rely on the church to provide these books for you in the pews. What we have here is the proposed 1928 prayer book, so an addition that was used before the book was finally adopted by the Episcopal Church in this form. That by itself is rather unique. In addition, there is the hymnal you would’ve been carrying which dated back to 1892 approved by the Episcopal Church , both of these are pocket additions, of course, so hymnal has the words to all of the hymns, but none of the music. I am a retired priest/professor, and I am looking for a good home for many of the books that I have collected over the years. If you are interested in church, history, or liturgical history, or just want something straight out of the past these books are waiting for you , and for being almost 100 years old, they are both in good shape with no missing pages, no problems with the bindings, just a suitable amount of wear and tear and aging.
