Description: Boards faded, stained and slightly chipped, with worn edges on all three volumes. All three with marbled design on page edges and paste down pages. Prior owners name written on front fly leaf pages of Volume I and III. Faded pages with some staining throughout. Volume I has a tear at the top of pg. 3 and at the lower right of pg. 503. Pages 410 through 422 are slightly dog-eared in the lower left corner. The front fly leaf of Volume II (showing representations of coins) apparently repaired with tape by prior owner. Tear at the lower right side of the marbled front fly leaf along with small tears at the top of pgs. 703 and 705. Volume III has a rip in the middle right side of the marbled front fly leaf, dog-eared bottom right corner on pg. 1533, small rip on the bottom of pgs. 1613 and 1617, pencil markings on pgs. 1749 and 1755, and a contemporary floral sticker affixed to pg. 1721. The addendum at the end of Volume III, The Wonderful Story, has a pencil mark on pg. 102 and a tear at the bottom left of pg. 193.
