The slots are measured at .078. and running in the horizontal position. Can also be used on the table top quad base. Don’t like the direction that the tool sits? Lift it from the base, give it a quarter turn and set it back in the base. Please use caution when replacing or changing accessory attachments as these tools do get hot. A pot holder or tongs will work nicely to change out the piece. Our machinists are encouraged to initial their work in a discrete nonfunctional area of the graphite, something we don't normally get to do in our regular custom machined parts.
