Description: Offered here is " The Parasites " by Daphne Du Maurier, published by Robert Bentley, Inc. in 1971. This preowned hardcover book is in Very Good condition. The red cloth-covered boards have gilt titles on the spine. The head and tail of spine show edge wear, especially on the spine corners. There is subtle wear along the edges of the spine. The corners of the boards show very small areas of rubbing. Two sides of the book block are sun-tanned; the top edges of the page block were printed red. This color appears to have lightly bled onto the endpaper (approx 2-inch); all other pages are unmarked and clean. The binding is tight. The white, unclipped dust jacket is in Good condition. There are tears and chips on the edges (max 1/2-inch), resulting in some loss of material. The dust jacket is sun-tanned with some creasing. There are two red and purple marks on the top of the dust jacket flaps. Please see accompanying photographs, which are of the actual item you will receive.
