The poster is signed by 46 members of the cast including Fuschia as Rafiki, Rufus Bonds, Jr. as Mufasa, Moe Daniels as Nala, Clifton Oliver as Simba, Danny Rutigliano as Timon, John Vickery as Scar, William Akey as Zazu, Bob Bouchard as Pumbaa, Adrian Diamond as Young Simba, KaRonn A. Henderson and Young Simba, Jeffrey Polk as Banzai, Price Waldman as Ed, and Carla Renata Williams as Shenzi. The Lion King opened on Broadway in 1997 and was such a hit that the Disney producers decided to start a tour production in 2000 at the Pantages Theatre in Los Angeles. Julie Taymor, who won a Tony Award for her direction of the play, moved to Los Angeles to direct the tour production. The play ran in Los Angeles for about 2 1/2 years. If you want to identify the signatures, the actors playing the main characters generally signed the face of the lion, the lion mane, or the central area just below the face and mane.
