You're looking at a very good overall condition book which is a 1956 novelization of the CLARK GABLE Western film "The King and Four Queens" based on a story by MARGARET FITTS and written by THEODORE STURGEON--the book is a STATED FIRST EDITION and FIRST PRINTING 1966 Dell mass market paperback copy. This book is in very good overall condition and the book has a slightly brittle (but fully intact and overall solid) binding at the first and last couple of pages of the book, a light partial split between the two page title page and a slightly loose but not detached title page--it's still a great, readable copy. The book has a very light forward list of the spine end, a light scuff on the upper right edge of the back cover, two very small abrasions on the center upper edge of the front cover, a couple of slight vertical creases on the lower portion of the front surface, very sight creases on the upper center and lower left tip of the back cover, very light dings on the front opening tips, a tiny tear on the lower left spine edge of the front cover and just light shelfwear and light evidence of gentle browsing otherwise but NO other significant flaws! The book is titled The King and Four Queens: An Original Western and it was written by THEODORE STURGEON based on a story by MARGARET FITTS; it was published by Dell First Edition in 1956 and is a STATED 1st EDITION and 1st PRINTING copy. Dan Kehoe was a lot of man. They said he'd stake his mother's wedding ring on the turn of a card and bet his father's moldy tombstone for a mess of pottage. They said he killed a man in Texas and then preached at the funeral. They said he sold silverware to Chinese coolies.
