Description: This is California R&B doo wop group The Jewels (featuring Rudy Torrence) singing "Hearts Can Be Broken" on Imperial 5351 from 1955. This doo wop record looks VG++ with minor surface markings but plays in NM condition and comes in an Imperial Records company sleeve. The picture sleeve is custom sleeve that was made in Canada or England and is in MINT condition. This is a one-off sleeve that was not mass produced. This item comes in a clear, resealable, poly-vinyl protective sleeve with a cardboard backer separating the record from the picture sleeve. If "Hearts Can Be Broken" sounds a lot like "Hearts Of Stone", that's because Rudy Torrence wrote both songs. While The Jewels had no luck with "Hearts Of Stone" it was eventually covered successfully by Otis Williams and The Charms and likewise by The Fontane Sisters.
