Description: Almost THIRTY years ago, in 1995, the Time-Life company (created when the magazine 'Time' merged with 'Life' magazine, then they merged with Warner Bros. to become Time Warner) released a five disc series called 'The History of Rock and Roll', and it's actually really, really good! It covers many different bands, and lots of styles of music, through the 1980s and a bit into the early 90s. It aired on TV in '95, then several years later it was released on DVD. Up for grabs today is a complete set of ALL FIVE discs, which have two episodes on each one! Each episode is about an hour long. Three are STILL SEALED and NEVER OPENED or PLAYED. One of the other two discs looks new, and is shiny and clean. Case looks great. The last one has one or two very light surface marks on it. Nothing bad, or that will affect play. See pics for a brief description of the episodes. Most episodes have adult language, plus an occasional topless woman in the crowd. Quincy Jones was involved in these programs, and there are many interviews with musical artists that are no longer with us.
