The book is bound in a cornflower blue cloth and a head of the text block is ornamented in lilac. A front board is adorned with the gold medal commemorating the defeat of the Spanish Armada in 1588. Its obverse depicts an engagement of the fleets and above in clouds the name of Jehovah in Hebrew. A legend reads: FLAVIT [JEHOVAH] . ET . DISSIPATI . SVNT 1588 (He blew and they were scattered).A gilt spine cartouche is inscribed with a title tooled in red lettering. Condition The book is in excellent unread vintage condition with the exception of a hardly noticeable colour fading on a spine (please see the pictures). It comes from a smoke-free home.
