FOSTER DAMON, best known as a leading scholar of the poetry of William Blake, with beautiful art deco illustrations by VERA BOCK--the book is an unstated First Edition and a HARDCOVER with no dustjacket. This book is in good overall condition and has a slight forward list of the spine edge, some fading on the spine edge, some discolored spots on the covers, a gift inscription and owner's name and address sticker on the upper right corner of the illustrated first page, a light 1 inch split on the upper left edge of the first two pages but no other looseness, a split with some exposure of the binding cheesecloth between the frontispiece and title pages with no other significant binding compromise, a small crease on the upper right corner of p. 31, light dings on the opening tips and some shelfwear and browsing wear but no other significant imperfections! The book is titled The Day After Christmas and it was written by S. PORTER DAMON with illustrrations by VERA BOCK; it was published by Albert & Charles Boni in 1930 and is an unstated 1st Edition copy.A fantastic find, and a beautiful copy of this book!Thanks for looking, and good luck if you're bidding!
