His research area includes Image Processing, Biometrics, Information Security, Wireless Adhoc Networks, and Secure Image Transmission. Currently, he is working as a Professor in the department of Computer Science & Engineering at the Institute of Engineering & Technology (IET), Lucknow, and as Dean of PG Studies and Research, AKTU Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India. He has published more than 150 papers in international journals and peer reviewed conferences around the world. He has guided 08 Ph D and 80 Masters thesis.
