Pages 151 and 111 of each volume carry no second edition codes. Each volume is numbered 1- 42 below the table of contents and does not have the "A" suffix which would indicate a 2nd edition reprint. This set includes all the volumes containing the Andy Warhol, Maurice Sendak and Richard Scarry illustrations sought by art collectors. Pictograms on the spines and covers allow young children to find and remember their favorites. Highly collectable, and hard to find as a complete set. Also very desirable as a gift or gifts.
