Description: Item Description An original 1964 toy ‘Beatles New Beat’ guitar manufactured by Selcol UK. The orange and red guitar has no strings, two pegs and the original red rope strap, with a circular Beatles group sticker and ‘New Beat’ in mounted silver lettering at the top of the body and facsimile signatures printed at the bottom. There is also a small Selcol sticker visible on the inside of the guitar body. It comes in the original box with large front sticker. The guitar measures 81cm (32 inches) in height. The condition of the guitar is good plus. There is substantial damage to the bottom edge of the box where the cardboard has torn and come apart, possibly from water damage. The condition is fair. Very Good = Some wear and tear but overall presentable and usable. Good = Apparent wear and tear but with obvious deterioration of the condition. Poor = Extremely worn. A plus or minus after the grading indicates that the condition is marginally higher or lower than the stated grade.
