Description: A true classic by Steve Ditko and Stan Lee, the first appearance of Kraven the Hunter! Born the son of an aristocratic Russian family, later orphaned, Sergei Kravinoff has become a world renowned explorer and earned a fearsome reputation over the years as a legendary hunter. In this issue you find out just why he’s so hell bent on seeking revenge on the Spider-Man. This is also the second appearance of the Chameleon, the first cameo appearance of Anna Watson, and last but certainly not least, the first mention of Mary Jane Watson!!! Really epic piece of Marvel comics history, and a solid chunk of the foundation of the Spider-Man ethos…. There is also a Kraven movie set to premiere in December, hopefully it’s a fun film but I would like to think the value of a true classic like this doesn’t hang its hat on the coat rack of the Sony-Verse, for lack of a better analogy… This is a low grade and affordable copy. It’s been graded by CBCS and maybe more importantly verified as authentic and unrestored. They graded it a 1.5 Fair/Good copy with slightly brittle pages, and they have enshrined it in their plastic slab with the newly designed label, if you care about these things. I have included screenshots of the grader notes from the CBCS website, please read the description. It’s free to use their website and look any of the books they have graded up to read notes and even view scans if they have them! I also have taken high resolution photographs of the book itself, please take the time to zoom in close and inspect before bidding or buying. Will ship promptly upon payment. Bookchair not included! We are new to eBay but not to collecting or shipping. We will package all items with care and ship swiftly! Thanks a lot for looking. Save us and check back often, we have lots to list!
