Description: Criterion Collection Blu-Ray of The 400 Blows (1959). This is the long-out of print first pressing from 2009, in the early style of packaging that Criterion used for this release and others like Chungking Express, The Last Emperor, Last Year at Marienbad, etc.. It is not sealed (I opened it when I first got it), and I watched it one time. It does have some noticeable shelf wear, as shown in the uploaded images, but nothing major. Description from Criterion: "François Truffaut’s first feature is also his most personal. Told from the point of view of Truffaut’s cinematic counterpart, Antoine Doinel (Jean-Pierre Léaud), The 400 Blows (Les quatre cents coups) sensitively re-creates the trials of Truffaut’s own childhood, unsentimentally portraying aloof parents, oppressive teachers, and petty crime. The film marked Truffaut’s passage from leading critic to trailblazing auteur of the French New Wave."
