Description: Tex 086 Producd by Zbrojovka Brnu, Czechoslovakia - associated wi th the "Slavia" guns imported by Relum/Edgar Bros. Made 1970-early 1980s Details: Appears to follow on from the Slavia ZVP. Very well made. All metal with black moulded grip for either hand. 13 1/2 inches long. Rifled barrel. Foresight adjustable for elevation, whilst rearsight for windage. Serial number stampted on LHS of breech, for above 20297 Stamped on top of air chamber "TEX - 086" and on the LHS of the chamber "MADE IN CZECHOSLOVAKIA". Moulded grips have trademark on both sides with chequering. A small screwdriver can be removed by unscrewing the knurled head protruding from the end of the air chamber. This is used for trigger adjustment and for the sights - a very neat idea. For review of the above see "Guns Rview", July, 1976.
